Engine Options and Performance

The 2025 Vauxhall Grandland gives you two smart engine choices:

  • Mild Hybrid Petrol – A 1.2L turbo engine with a small electric motor for better efficiency (around 134bhp). No need to plug it in, just better fuel economy.
  • All-Electric – A 73kWh battery with up to 325 miles of range, perfect for zero-emission driving.

Whether you want efficiency, power, or full electric, there’s a Grandland to fit your life.

Boot Space and Practicality

All versions offer the same 550 litres of boot space (with seats up), rear seats fold flat for extra storage giving you 1645 litres of space and has split-folding rear seats for more flexibility. The cabin overall is spacious and feels comfortable on long journeys.

All models provide a generous 550 litres of boot space with the rear seats in their upright position, ensuring ample room for luggage, shopping, or everyday essentials. For those requiring more space, the rear seats fold completely flat, expanding the total storage volume to an impressive 1,645 litres. Additionally, the split-folding rear seat configuration allows for greater flexibility, enabling you to transport both passengers and larger items at the same time. Excellent for those IKEA trips where you buy something you didn’t expect to; you now don’t need to make your passenger walk home, they can sit in the back next to your new cabinet.

Inside, the cabin is thoughtfully designed to maximize space and comfort, offering a roomy interior that ensures both the driver and passengers feel relaxed, even on longer journeys. With supportive seating and a well-laid-out interior, this Grandland makes long drives effortless and enjoyable.

Price

  • Design Trim: Starting at 34k for petrol and £37k for electric, it’s a great option if you're looking for value without missing out on important features.
  • GS Trim: Mid-range in price, starting from 36k for petrol and 38k for electric, it gives you more technology and sportier styling.
  • Ultimate Trim: - The top-of-the-range option starting at 38k for petrol and 40k for electric. It’s the most expensive but comes with a lot of added extras.,

Which One Should You Choose?

  • Design – Ideal if you want a good-sized family SUV at the best possible price.
  • GS – A great balance of value and features, especially if you want extra tech and comfort.
  • Ultimate – Best if you want all the premium extras and don’t mind paying more for luxury.

In Summary

When considering the price difference between the three, the GS has most of the additions the Ultimate has including the same interior minus the panoramic roof. You do miss out on heated seats and steering wheel but you do still get a parking camera, it isn’t a 360 but it is good quality regardless. The Ultimate does have the addition of the increased safety however does carry a heavier price. If you’re happy without the toasty heated additions and have the budget, we’d recommend the GS trim.
